Respect Public Property

Social unrest due to any reason brings out damage to the public property such as bus stands, buses, railway stations etc. During a reality show when a celebrity said something about the local celebrity the fans stopped the train and burnt whatever they could. Similar incident happened when a religious leader said something about the other popular religious leader and the followers attacked the bus full of passengers. The only good thing they did was to evacuate the passenger out before damaging the public vehicle. Why to respect the public property. Public property is intended for public use and public

is none other than we people. When a bus is burnt it takes time for the government to recover that loss and during this period those who suffer are the public or the people.

What is public property?
Public property is anything that is intended for public use and is not related to a particular individual and majority of times owned by the government. For example buses, rails, national parks, libraries (public), roads, monuments etc.

What kinds of harms do the people cause?
Besides the violent acts like arson and malicious damages there are other harms too that people often

present in the form of mischiefs. For example spitting on roads, throwing garbage on roads, causing harm to plants in the parks are all included in disrespecting public property.

How to control such acts?
Religious followers becoming so violent by a single comment that they block roads, stop trains, burn buildings, and attack those on the road presents a doubt on their religiousness. Similar kinds of losses are made by the followers of political leaders and celebrities sometimes.

The best way is not to support them. When in crowd an individual loses its individuality and starts acting the way crowd acts. Such acts are not performed by many but when they are supported they feel motivated.

Once they get out of support, the other way is to oppose them and not through violence. A group of arsonists may well be stopped by their neighbours and home members. If it is done at the right time, their strength would break. Once they lose their strength they won’t be crowd anymore. An individual seldom has the courage to attack publicly.
