From the semi classical songs to the simple but effective element of devotion, Indian Cinema has contributed a lot to the Indian music as well. There is wide range of devotional songs from prayer to complaints. One of the best song about complaining to God was Meri binti sune to main janu, maanu tujhe main Ram, Ram nahi to kar doonga sare jag mein tujhe badnaam. There are many ways to practice concentration and to go near the Almighty, but to do this way is the best since with music it is easier to concentrate and music has its own vibrations to help the devotee out.
