Whether you work from home or you work at office each one has its advantages and disadvantages. While some might feel working from home as a better option the others may consider following a schedule and working from office. Which one would you prefer – work from home or working at office?
Work from home would give the employees the freedom to choose their work timings. They could work as long as they wanted to and whenever they wanted to. The same is true if they wanted to relax. This is not the case with office goers. Those who go tothe office have to stick to their schedules and may find it difficult to relax (depending on their manager) during the office timings.
Office goers would not necessarily have the time to do some personal job in between the office timings and if they get some, it would certainly be on records. There is nothing like that for work from home. It depends on the type of work yet the work from home people has this liberty generally. What they are required isto complete their work and that’s all.
There is a risk of getting overburdened in the case of people who work from home but that could be the case with those who go to the office for work. Working for others wouldn’t give you the entire benefits and there are tactics that every person learns from his/her experience.
While working from home there are chances of getting disrupted by the children and the elderly members but those working in the office get disrupted too. Don’t trust me? Working in the office does provide a work station but that does not guarantee that you are allowed to work on a specific assignment at one time. Anyone can come with something urgent and the assignment you were working on got stuck in the midway.
Other than the reasons mentioned above there could be personal reasons for choosing specific options for work. Not all kinds of working styles suit all kinds of people.
