To me school was always better than college. The reasons were simple: -
Schools follow a disciplined approach. If the class starts by 7 am then you have to reach the school before 7 otherwise you won’t be allowed to enter the classroom or if allowed there would be some punishment.
While in colleges there are restrictions but not adhered to. Students attend the classes that they really wish to otherwise if they don’t there is nothing wrong.
Teacher student relationship
In schools teachers recognize their students. The reason is simple they record attendance of them every day, they interact with theirstudents every day, they appreciate them, they punish them, they do everything for their bright future.
Those who do well are appreciated in public while those who do poor are punished in public. While in colleges the students are teachers have almost no interrelation with each other. If it hold this is limited to one or two faculties only whom the students like the most.
Everyone got chances to contribute
Not only studies and lectures but the school provides opportunities to participate in certain competitions.Events such as Independence Day are celebrated and the students are motivated to participate in those events.
There is period for sports too and it is mandatory to participate in the extra activities as well. This allows those to come forward who hesitate in bringing themselves ahead of others. Everyone gets opportunities to contribute.
In college everything is up to the students whether to do it or not. The loss here is to those who will to participate but due to some bullying or some hesitation cannot.
They fought and got united. They were always one in school but got separated in the college. The immaturity was the first reason that students at school were allowed to discipline. When the children go mature there is certain amount of ego that develops which doesn’t allow him to endorse rules upon him. This is why children are always better than the adults.
