Different people have different reviews when asked about the recent Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha starrer action movie Rowdy Rathore. One of the gentlemen in my office was presenting his Rowdy Rathore movie review in front of others where he called the movie as illogical and ridiculous. I asked him the reasons why the movie is so bad and why you didn’t like it? He replied: -
“Akshay Kumar beat so many people all alone. How could a man do that? I hate movies where such action is presented before the audience”. I asked him another reason why the movie was notworth a watch, he had no answer. He just said, “The movie was bad, that’s all”.
I have also watched the movie and I did this on the first day itself. People may disagree with me but the movie was such that I forgot about the popcorn and the cold drinks. It was just the movie. And there are reasons for this.
The movie has a clear storyline. There is no confusion anywhere in the story of what’s happening around.
There is action and there is comedy but there is no mix up. The action scenes are pure action scenes.
At no point of time does the audience get bored nor did I (as noticed by the reactions of people in the cinema theatre).
If is for the reality, that the movie has to be seen, then why go to the cinema hall there are plenty of options to make world a better place.
There have not been very good reviews about Rowdy Rathore on the internet. Those who saw the movie after reading reviews made up their minds that the movie is bad and thus they commented as they read.
Those who heard from such people commented in a similar fashion and thus the movie became illogical.
The point here is movies are not watched for some logic. Movies are there to entertain and if it fails to entertain it is simply not a good movie. Rowdy Rathore entertains as long as it runs. Hence, Rowdy Rathore is a good movie regardless of what the critics say.
