On this teachers’ day we remember some of the best teachers from history. Behind the best students were the best teachers even if their names could not become the main focus. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan
It is because of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, that we celebrate Teachers’ Day in India now.
Teacher is the one who teaches. This is probably the simplest definition of a teacher. Anything may be taught. To teach is not as easy as the definition when it comes to practical efforts. Teachers put all their attempts to carve the future of the student.
In a country like India where the students had such devotion for their teachers that they would go on to cut their finger even if the teacher did not actually teach the student (Dronacharya Eklavya story).
India is a country where student like Karna would not move the body just because the teacher was sleeping on his lap (despite the pain of the honeybee sting). India goes on to celebrate yet another Teachers’ Day. Wish you a Happy Teachers Day.
