Can you forget the melodious voices of Talat Mehmood, Kundan Lal Saigal and Begum Akhtar from the very first days of Indian Cinema? Those were the singers that produced beautiful compositions that are still alive in the minds of those who heard them.

To continue this trend there were other legendary singers each with a different style and approach. Remember Mehndi Hasan and Ghulam Ali for their semi classical approach. The readiness of their sound was something spectacular. It was indeed a treat to hear them live.
