The very first lesson while learning palmistry is not to just read the best authors or the best books of palmistry like a novel but to understand what is written in the books. For example if it is written that the line of life rising from the mount of Jupiter is an indication of the ambitions in the person. Similar is said for a branch line from the life line to the mount of Jupiter. Let’s analyse such statements.
Mounts are common in each hand named after the planetary names used in the astrology. The purpose of such nomenclature is justbecause the characteristics reflected by the mounts are similar to what the planets reflect. Most of the authors and palmists share the same consensus.
If the line of head rises from inside the mount of aggressive Mars then it is said that the person will reflect irritable or short tempered attitude (similar is the interpretation for line of life coming out of the mount of offensive Mars). While if the line of head approaches the Mount of defensive Mars it is said that the person has capabilities to defend himself against odd situations.
If the line of heart or the heart line ends at the Mount of Jupiter then the person has a sacrificing nature, he thinks in a way to benefit others. Such person is more devote in love while the opposite is the case if the line of heart ends at the Mount of Saturn.
There are umpteen statements but the logic behind all this is that a line gains the properties of the Mount from where it begins and where it ends. Both the areas where the lines begin and ends have impact on the performance of that particular line. The importance of mounts for accurate predictions can’t be overruled in the process flow of palmistry.
