Anger Management - How To Control Agression?

One of the most common causes of why people get angry is that they couldn’t get what they desired either in their lives or at that very moment.  Anger is with in oneself. It comes out of nowhere but from some incomplete work or pending desire that waits completion.

This is probably the reason why the most ambitious are the most aggressive. Following are some tips to anger management: -

Beware of what you watch/listen/read

If you watch violent/action movies or read violent stuff soon it would start impressing your soul. Majority of times this happens with school/college guys when they act according

to what they see or listen. To the best extent prefer comic, spiritual or anything light over such stuff.

Face it 

Learn to face anger. Don’t run away from the situations that make you aggressive instead test yourself against those things. The better way is to understand the cause behind the situation. Soon you may realize if you were wrong.

Reduce your ego

Most of us think we are the most important person in the world. When everyone thinks the same way there begins the problem. The egos collide and the situation gets worsened. Stop thinking that way. You are contributing something to this world so why not contribute something good.
If anything doesn’t go as per our liking we try to make it in our favour by shouting or if not by shouting by making violence. This helps sometimes but spoils our habit


thus building our ego. Stop thinking like you are a king. So what if someone abused you. On the other hand if someone abuses you and if you give him nothing in return he may feel abnormal. 

Workout

Join some extreme work out sessions. This would help you to forget things. The more you sweat the more you lose your emotions. Kickboxing or any other form of martial arts and yoga may help. 

Give yourself some time


Surrounded by a group of people always doesn’t allow you to interact with yourself.
Talk with yourself. Try to analyse your behaviour in extreme situations as to whether the aggression was relevant at that point of time. Think of some alternate manner in which you could have behaved and try to relate the consequences.

Concentration


Try meditation every night before sleep and every morning after bath. You may practise concentration over light music also. This would refresh your mind and clear the garbage that got stuck in the mind since morning.
