There are and have been many people who have or had emotional attachments with their pets. They loved their pets so deeply that they almost considered their pets as their family members. Is it right to get so emotionally attached with your pets? I have seen at some houses where people loved their pets so deeply that they spoiled their habits getting their pets obese. I am sure you also know some of them where the cats or dogs are overweight, but the point is not just about being overweight, it is more than that.
In the city we earlier livedin, the house had a balcony where a cat gave birth to three kittens. One male and two females and the three of them were just lovable. Though I had instructed my family members not to get close to them as we had not gotten such space neither should we take freedom away from someone even if it was an animal.
Days passed by and the kitten started to grow up. Laterally we started to get attached with the cuteness of the lovely animals (I was never a cat lover before though I loved puppies). Time passed by and now the cats werelike our family members. They played on our beds, in the drawing room and under the beds. We loved to see them.
Then one fine day I got a notice of my transfer. When we were about to lose touch with those animals, it was one of the hardest emotional case to get away with. And when we were finally departing, one of the kittens just got on my feet as if it was trying to stop me. I thought as if the animals have some sixth sense. Had it been a human child I could have given a chocolate or some gift but what could I do in such case.
Getting emotional with pets is a human tendency. Such relationships are always good as animals seldom cheat or deceive. What animals could offer is only love. Even if you insert your finger in their mouth they would hold it in such a manner that won’t hurt you. Not all the animals are good pets, but those that are good are always lovable and it is hard to avoid emotional relationship with such pets.
