Some people find difficult to express themselves. They prefer living in peace and with no disturbance. Some people find it difficult to control emotions. Anger management, stress management and even pleasure management is not in their nature. They can express their feelings in the crowd as good as they do in their houses. But when it comes to living in an apartment, there are many adjustments to be made. Does living in an apartment affect lifestyle of the people?
Increasing population has not only raised questions on inflation, unemployment but also has posed a major question about the accommodation problem. Inthe metropolitan cities people find it very difficult to buy individual houses as there is little land space available. Majority of population in such big cities lives in apartments.
An apartment is a multi-storey building often comprising of three or four flats on each floor. The height of the building may vary depending upon the builder or developer. Those who live on the same floor often are able to hear the noise made by those who climbthe stairs or when a guest arrives at the neighbouring flat.
Those who are introverts often find it difficult to say what they wanted to when the doors are open. Sometimes it may be dangerous too as you never know who the person living next to you is (since there are many who live on rent). There are moments when there is a fight between the husband and wife. Some keep their voices low while some don’t bother even if it reaches other ears.
Birthday celebrations, seasonal wishes or any other party occasions are planned such that it doesn’t disturb the neighbours or else he/she may complain. Besides those who love to enjoy those who love solitude, find it difficult to live lonely as there is so much gossips, activities and movement going on in the building.
Those living in apartments sometimes feel that the liberty of the human soul is challenged by living in apartments.
